The lock quality is good. With the instruction, it is very easy to install.
I have used a couple other style trailer locks on various trailers but this one has to be my favorite. The heaviest duty ones I have used previously have a thin insert that goes into the ball area and it can be a pain to line everything up. The way the lock cylinder works is also susceptible to weather changes or dirt making it also a pain to sometimes unlock.This lock cylinder seems to offer similar protection but is much easier to install and remove. Since the ball is actually a...ball it is quick to install it into the trailer, and because the locking comes straight out getting access to it is quick and easy.Nothing will stop someone who is completely determined to steal your property - but with this lock I am confident that if they tried it would take some serious time and noise to do so and hopefully be interrupted in the process!
